Sort items alphabetically
You can organize your content alphabetically using Sort A–Z or Sort Z–A.
How Sorting Works
Sorting behavior depends on what you select:
When a Parent Item is Selected
The item’s direct children are sorted alphabetically.
Sub-items deeper in the hierarchy remain in their original order.
When Multiple Sibling Items are Selected
Only the selected siblings are sorted relative to each other.
When a Tree is Selected
Only the selected top-level siblings are sorted.
Sub-items deeper in the hierarchy remain in their original order.
How to Sort Items
1.
Select the item(s) you want to sort.
2.
Open the Item Menu.
3.
Choose one of the sorting options:
Sort A–Z: Sort items alphabetically from A to Z.
Sort Z–A: Sort items alphabetically from Z to A.
✨ Example
Imagine you have the following structure:
Groceries
• Bananas
• Apples
• Oranges
Animals
• Zebra
• Antelope
Here’s what happens:
Selecting “Groceries” and sorting A–Z:
Bananas, Apples, and Oranges will be reordered alphabetically under Groceries.
The Animals section will not be affected.
Selecting only “Bananas” and “Apples” (under Groceries):
Bananas and Apples will be sorted relative to each other.
Oranges stays where it is.
Selecting both “Groceries” and “Animals” including their subtrees:
Only the top-level siblings (“Groceries” and “Animals”) will be sorted relative to each other, not their internal items.
